Crosswords that involve finding marine-related words have been created for you with three levels of difficulty. If you are attempting the crosswords for the first time, then try solving the easy ones with hints on Monday and Tuesday. Moderate ones appear on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, finally, difficult ones appear on Saturday and Sunday. You can either solve these online on the computer or take a printout to solve them at leisure in your cabin.

Daily Word Jumbles

Play this interactive/printable game by solving the five jumbled marine words every day. The jumbled words are from the IMO Standard Marine Communication Phrases (SMCP) book. The highlighted or circled letters will complete the illustrated Daily Pun and provide an amusing challenge. To solve the pun look for clues hidden in the cartoon. The easy Jumbles appear on Thursday and Friday, moderate on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and finally difficult ones on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Word Maze

Every fortnight you can play an absorbing word maze based on a variety of marine and sporting themes. So browse carefully to search the words hidden vertically, horizontally, forward, backward and diagonally within the grid.

Word Mix

Play this exciting multi-level game with your shipmates. Choose one of the three options - Beginner, Intermediate or Expert to start the game. The qualifying score for the next level is 2, 3 or 4 correct answers for the respective options. In the first level a 5-letter jumbled word will appear on the screen. Drag and drop the letters into the boxes below to form a marine-related word. These words are selected from the IMO Standard Marine Communication Phrases Book (SMCP). Some words though correct, may not be from the SMCP word list and do not score marks. In case you do not qualify for the next level you lose one of the three lives and must continue to play at the same level to qualify again. You can quit the game anytime by using the exit button. So go ahead and achieve the highest score to become the ship's champion!
