Bet Limassol was a mad house on sunday night after the Euro final.

We were all disappointed that our respective teams (Holland, Sweden and England) did not win, but enjoyed watching the Greeks do that so unexpectedly.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
With indignation I read the information IMO approved shipping companies ability to appoint ship masters as SSO. Nonsense!!!
They've definitely lost the sense of reality trying "to serve both God and Mammon". A person can't be both Master and Officer on board in one time. The only soulless bureaucrats, not seamen, were able to issue such monstrous paper trampling entirely the last
marine tradition. No more masters at sea!!! But who w'd supervise all the processes on board, correct, advise, teach and take final decisions?
Who'd lead the ship and crew being fully responsible against God and Owner?
This job for an officer ashore but not at sea. Sea is the same than millennium ago and crews need as before the person staying aside of all the routine on board to settle and harmonize all the processes but they like me, instead of all, to distribute badges for visitors. How stupid it is! Taking such decision they create new Prestiges.
P.S. Please send the above to IMO if you can or some nautical magazine or publish it in your edition.

comprehensive. This ship is equipped with a satellite antenna, and world news e.g. CNN are available. So the national and regional news are of great importance to the crew, and they are qiet happy with it. I'm sure, you have some interested and satisfied readers on the m/t ''DORSCH''.
Just one request: With the latest breakdown of our PC's hard disk, and the necessity to re-install the off line reader, the company logos got lost. If you could resend the flag-files for MARLOW NAVIGATION and CARL BÜTTNER, I would be grateful.

Many thanks for your service to our vessel which everybody expecting and reading every day. We have Croatian/Filipino crewmembers on board. At present we are all satisfy with news as it is but would like to express few crew suggestions referring first to Croatian News :
1/Section sport:
We would like to read more news about sports other than tennis. Our news have mainly tennis reports from all kind of tournaments as topic i.e. more than half of page which nobody is interested to read so much except Grand Slam. Suggesting other sports to include i.e. F1,Moto-byke races, Handball, NBA basketball and off course more football round up news which we all preferring best.
Croatian league is expressed in just few sentences which we consider not sufficient due everybody expecting news about his own supporting club even if they are in relegation zone.
2/We would like to have more update on world business news especially currency exchange relations between Euro vs.US$ due unfortunately our salaries are affected. Mainly are in US$ and we could have our savings protected from inflation /fluctuation if we receiving latest update/forecasts from markets worldwide or i.e.somethimes news referring to bank interest rates etc..
Also would like to have our own currency Kuna updated by Croatian and not by Cyprus banks due huge discrepancies noted.
3/Due all Croatian's seamen are from coastal area would like to read more news about their towns.
4/News consisting of 4 pages but sometimes observed that during printing just for few words have to be used additional page.
5/Filipino crewmembers have suggestion for more their show business news.

As a German National I would like to read of course german
news as well.
As the officers on this ship are mainly Europeans, we would
like to read every Monday the scoccer results/tables of the
major soccer leagues in Europe and some other main sports
events, i.e. F-1, Tennis, etc. maybe it's possible to have
on a Monday a purely sports issue in addition to the regu-
lar news.
